Otto Warmbier, the Wyoming, Ohio native, in a coma when released from captivity while in North Korea, has died. He died despite the efforts of a team at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, who were lauded by Warmbier's parents. He is the tragic victim of one of the world's most savage dictatorships.
In late April, Donald Trump, president of the United States, said that he would be "honored" to meet North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, "under the right circumstances."
But today, Mr. Trump sounded a different note regarding Kim and his regime, saying in a statement, "The United States once again condemns the brutality of the North Korean regime as we mourn its latest victim."
